James E. Sears

James E. SearsJames Edward Sears, born in 1935, fell asleep in death on Oct. 31, 2017, at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital. He is now resting, peaceably awaiting the resurrection in Paradise earth.

James is survived by his wife Mary of 60 years; daughter Pam Montano; grandsons Stevie, Jesse, Ryan, Jim and Dillon; granddaughters Valerie, Heather and Michelle; three great-grandchildren; sisters Ruth and husband Jimmy and Bessie and numerous other relatives in Oregon. He was preceded in death by his sons, Steve and Jimmy.

James was a very active member and elder in the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses until his illness took over. He as a hard worker, doing whatever he could to take care of his family. James was always willing to led a helping hand if he could.

Even in his last days, he always had a smile and welcome for everyone. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. A scripture that James really loved is 2 Corinthians 4:18, “While we keep our eyes, not on the things seen, but on the things unseen. For the things seen are temporary, but the things unseen are everlasting.”
