Garner presents  tribute to John CashThe Indian Wells Valley Concert Association will present James Garner’s tribute to legendary performer Johnny Cash on Monday, Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Parker Performing Arts Center at Burroughs High School.

“Garner and his band faithfully recreate Cash’s biggest hits, such as “Folsom Prison Blues,” “I Walk the Line” and “Ring of Fire,” and incorporate historical accounts and personal anecdotes about America’s most beloved singing storyteller,” said a spokesperson.

“The show is a fun, classy and toe-tapping trip down Memory Lane honoring Johnny Cash’s life and music, and the boom-chicka-boom sound of his signature backing band, the Tenessee Three.”

Tickets to the local show are available at Maturango Museum, Red Rock Books, Jeff’s Music and the door. General admission is $25 per person, with a discounted rate offered to seniors, youth and active military.

Doors open for seating at 7 p.m.
