Daniels recognized for 40 years, meritorious serviceRear Adm. Brian Corey, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division commander, recognized Roy Daniels with a 40-year length-of-service award and the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award during a ceremony at China Lake.

Daniels serves as a team lead for the Shipboard Weapons Integration Team within the Logistics and Industrial Operations Group. A retired Marine aviation ordanceman with more than 40 years of logistics, maintenance and acquisition program experience, Daniels has become a recognized expert for weapons integration and logistics throughout the naval service.

“His dedicated and focused coordination provided innovative ways in the translation of weapons requirements into safe and effective shipboard support facilities providing sailors and Marines with unsurpassed ordnance logistics warfighting capabilities,” read his award nomination.

“His dedication to duty and distinctive logistics accomplishments has greatly enhanced the overall ability of NAWCWD to provide effective logistics and industrial operations to the fleet.”
