James Harold Crow

James Harold ‘Jim’ Crow passed away in Lancaster, California on October 11, 2017 at the age of 68.

The funeral service will be held at .The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1031 S. Norma on October 21, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Desert Memorial Park, 801 S. San Bernardino Rd Ridgecrest, CA 9355.

Jim is predeceased by his wife Barbara Crow, parents, Harold and Lily Elaine Crow.

Jim is survived by his daughters and sons-in-laws, Darrin and Wendy Wilson and Michael and Robin Bullock of Ridgecrest, California. Grandchildren, Jessica Rogers, Ashley Wilson of Redding, California and Scott Hatfield Jr of Twenty-nine Palms, California. Great-grandson Tyler Rogers Jr. Sisters, Linda Piepmeier of Ridgecrest, California and Debbie Cornett of Logan Utah. Brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Adele Crow of Ridgecrest, California. Sister and brother-in-law Vicki and Paul Lee of Ogden Utah. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Jim was born in Ridgecrest, California in 1949. He graduated from Burroughs High School in 1968. Served a Scottish Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Served in the USMC from 1970-1972.

Jim received his Fire Science AA from Cerro Coso College. He worked for China Lake Naval Weapons Center until he retired after 32 years of combined government service. All while working as a firefighter, paramedic, and volunteered with search and rescue.

Jim enjoyed sports, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, camping and Family!

He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend.

The visitation will be held at Holland and Lyons Mortuary, 216 S. Norma, Ridgecrest, CA 93555 on October 20,2017 from 5-7 PM.
