NAWCWD Length of Service Awards - Chester CorneliusChester Cornelius, right, receives a 30-year length of service award from Brad Harlow, technical director for the Weapons and Energetics Department, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division. The ceremony was on July 10 at China Lake. Cornelius began his career as a co-op student while attending Cerro Coso Community College. After graduation, he was assigned to many weapons programs such as Sparrow, multi-mission propulsion technology and Sidewinder. Since then, he has worked in the Machine Shop, in Navigation and Concept Weapons Development as well as directly with the Fleet and Rapid Prototype director at China Lake.
