Graduation ceremonies announced

As the days remaining in the school year dwindle into the single digits, local schools announce commencement and promotional ceremonies for local graduates.

Sierra Sands Unified School District will hold its first graduation of the year on Friday, May 26, with the Adult School graduation at 6 p.m. in the Parker Performing Arts Center at Burroughs High School.

Mesquite High School will hold its graduation on campus on Thursday, June 1, at 6:30 p.m.

Burroughs High School graduation will be held Friday, June 2, at 8 p.m. at the Football Stadium.

James Monroe Middle School will hold its promotion ceremony on Thursday, June 1, at 7:30 a.m. in the Kerr McGee Center. Murray Middle School promotion will be held at 10 a.m. on the same day in the same location.

Ridgecrest Charter School will promote its eighth graders in a ceremony on Thursday, June 1, at 5:30 p.m. at Desert Christian Center.

Immanuel Christian School will hold its eighth-grade promotion on Wednesday, May 24, at 6:30 p.m. in the worship center on Graaf Street. Senior high graduation will be held Thursday, May 25, at 6:30 p.m. in the worship center.
