Charlene Joyce Andrews

Charlene Joyce Trombley Andrews died unexpectedly at home on April 9, 2017, at the age of 78.

Charlene was born Oct. 30, 1938, in Highland, Mich., and has been a resident of Ridgecrest since 1976.

She was a self-employed house cleaner and homemaker. She was an active member of the LDS Church, temple patron, avid gardener, puzzler and workhorse until the day she died. She loved spending time with her family and was the sweetest great-grandmother, grandmother, mother, wife of 58 years, sister and daughter anyone could ask for. She was a wonderful example of service and charity. She will be missed deeply. To know her was to love her.

Charlene is survived by her loving husband Ernest Andrews of Ridgecrest; daughter Sheryl (Brian) Rhodes of Ridgecrest; daughter Michelle (Jay) Noel of San Tan Valley; son Kevin (Kayla) Andrews of Clinton, Mo.; sister Sandra Underwood of Colorado Springs, Colo.; brother Lanny Trombley of Hesperia; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial for Charlene will be held Friday, April 14, at 10 a.m. at the LDS Stake Center, 1031 S. Norma Street in Ridgecrest. Services will be officiated by Bishop McDonald of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
