To the Editor: Thanks chess supporters
The last tournament of local free chess tournaments for students finished in February to conclude another successful season for local K-12 chess players. The average attendance for the six monthly tournaments was 70 students per tournament, and 190 kids participated in one or more tournaments. Thanks to our sponsors, donors and fund-raising, every student was awarded a medal or trophy at each tournament. Thanks to the following groups of donors for making this possible.
