‘Bury Me in Paris’ opens tomorrow
Master Mystery Productions and My Enchanted Cottage and Tea Room will present its third interactive mystery with the production of “Bury Me in Paris,” opening Saturday, March 25.
The show is set in the glamorous world of 1920s Paris. At a glitzy party celebrating the sale of the iconic “Madame Mustache” painting, Chantal, the grandest of all the muses in Montparnasse, arrives with a letter threatening her life.
Someone in her fabulous inner circle wants her dead. Could it be the painter she’s supported his entire career? Or the very wealthy flapper heiress who is her rival in love? What about the world-wise writer, the jovial jazz musician or the young outsider to this bohemian wonderland? Before the ice in the champagne bucket melts, someone will be buried in Paris for good, and living the bohemian life will become a very difficult occupation.
Starring Skeleton Key Winner Lena Pokol, Daniel Stallings, Katie Cozine, Devanne Fredette, Cat Kusznir, Skeleton Key Winner Monica Lorenz and Darren Hoyt, the show will allow audiences to dress up in their flapper finest and solve the mystery themselves.
Additional performances will be held Friday, March 31; Saturday, April 1; and Saturday, April 8. All shows will be at 7 p.m. at My Enchanted Cottage and Tea Room.
Heather McGaha will play Chantal on April 8. The show will also feature a showcase of Marcela Everitt’s original artwork, a wine and beer bar available for purchase, tea and delicate desserts prepared by My Enchanted Cottage.
Tickets are $25 each and are available at squareup.com/store/ my-enchanted-cottage and at My Enchanted Cottage. For information, call 760-264-4141.
