Ena Zapura went to the arms of our Heavenly Father on March 4, 2017. She went peacefully in our home surrounded by her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter.
She blessed us for 63 years.
Ena was born January 27, 1954, in Santiago Chile. She immigrated to California in 1985 and resided in Redondo Beach. One of her proudest moments was when she became a naturalized citizen in 1995.
Ena is remembered as a mother, sister, business qwner and in-home healthcare provider. Mom will be remembered for her love of decorating, gardening and making everything around her beautiful. Her love of fine teas impressed and encouraged her daughter Marcela of My Enchanted Cottage & Tea Room to open a special place for everyone to enjoy fine teas as much as she did.
Ena is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Marcela and Mark Everitt of Ridgecrest; siblings Magaly Zapura and Mario Huilipan of Torrance and Yamil and Yanina Zapura of Santiago, Chile; and her grandchildren Marcus, Alessandra and Cameela Lomeli of Ridgecrest
She was preceded in death by husband Manuel Oliva, mother Ena Ramirez, father Enrique Zapura and brothers Jaime and Carlos Zapura.
Public visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Holland & Lyons Mortuary in Ridgecrest. A memorial will be held Saturday, March 11, 10 a.m. at All Faith Chapel, NAWS, China Lake.
