Wilbur Benjamin Grossardt
Wilbur Benjamin Grossardt passed away Feb. 6, 2017, of natural causes at his home in Onyx with his loving wife of 34 years by his side.
Services were held Tuesday, Feb. 14, in Ridgecrest.
Wilbur was born Oct. 24, 1942. in Bishop to Willis Bernard Grossardt and Mary Jane Smith-Grossardt-Dunn, both deceased. Wilbur was a dedicated truck driver for Ladd Ready Mix in Ridgecrest until his retirement in 2002.
In retirement Wilbur performed project security for Weekly Bros., Inc., in Oregon during the summers. He loved to fish, cut firewood, enjoy nature and work on home projects.
Wilbur is survived by his wife, Carolyn Grossardt; daughters Cynthia Weekly, Diana Rodriguez, Judy Waters and Dina Waters; and son Dusty Coughran.
He was the eldest of 13 children, predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by brothers Kenneth Grossardt, Frank Grossardt and Michael Dunn; and sisters Bonnie Faupel, Judy Reinhart and Alice Nix; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
