Chamber to host marketing expert
“Now that our new Marshall’s is open, there really is no reason for our friends and neighbors to be going out of town to do their shopping a couple of times every month,” said a spokesperson of the Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce.
“But it’s up to us, the business owners in this community, to make sure they understand. So how do we do that?”
The chamber will be host workshops that will give business owners insight into how to get more customers who will pay more money more often.
“Paul Furse and the good folks at Ascend Marketing have answers we can all use. And what’s more — they guarantee it,” said a chamber official.
Participants have two opportunities to hear Furse speak — one at noon and one at 6 p.m., Thursday, July 31, at Desert Valleys Community Resource Center.
Furse has been managing and consulting with small businesses for more than 20 years. As a regional manager in one of the world’s largest corporations, he has helped hundreds of clients improve sales volume, profitability, cash flow and morale. “As his clients’ businesses grew, his did, too.”
In addition to his booming consulting business, he has also built several profitable businesses of his own. He is also a licensed and certified marketing coach.
