Student volunteers help Elks gather hundreds of pounds of food

Elks Leading Knight Bill Brickey, left, and Trustee Chuck Elmer stand with Murray Middle School student volunteers, who helped collect hundreds of pounds of food items for the Elks Holiday Food Basket Program. The students shown are from grades 6 to 8 and represent the nearly 600 students who contributed to the food drive. “Murray students have been our heroes during the holiday season every year,” said Elks Exalted Ruler Ken Dalpiaz. “Thank you, Murray Middle School, you are all great teachers of what the Elks call ‘Brotherly Love.’”
