The Cerro Coso Community College Foundation and college administration would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank the following community members, businesses, and organizations for their generous support of the foundation’s Star Party and Astronomical Barbecue on Friday, Sept. 27. Thanks to your contributions, the community loves this family- friendly fundraiser.
Special thanks go to Zurn’s Electric and C. Martin Company Inc. for providing all the wonderful food for the evening.

We are grateful to the following individuals, businesses and groups for their generous donations that contributed to the success of this year’s event: The China Lake Astronomical Society for their expertise and assistance with star gazing at the observatory, the Maturango Museum and volunteers for sharing their inflatable planetarium and hosting astronomy shows throughout the evening, ticket outlets Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce and Red Rock Books, CCCC Alumni Association for providing dessert, and musical entertainment provided by Treacherous Edges.
