Ridge Project gearing up for Oct. 5 cleanup

The Ridgecrest community is invited to join teams of Ridge-Project volunteers they team up on Saturday, Oct 5 from 7 to 11 a.m. – to help make a difference in the community. Volunteers are asked to bring powered garden tools, hoes, rakes, large clippers (for trimming shrubs), gloves, sunscreen, trash bags, trucks and trailers.

There will be two sign-up stations that day, one at SpringHill Suites, 113 Sydnor St., and the other at Walmart, 911 S. China Lake Blvd.

Those unable to participate in the Oct. 5 cleanup can get involved in three other ways: spreading the word about RidgeProject, volunteering to help with future projects on a variety of levels, or lending a hand financially. There’s a place for everyone in the RidgeProject.

Volunteers are asked to RSVP to ridgeprojectca@gmail.com. Also please advise RidgeProject if you have a truck and/or trailer available.
