Pancake Breakfast to open ‘Old West Days’ in Randsburg
The Rand Desert Museum will host its 12th annual pancake breakfast on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 8 to 11 a.m. The fundraiser will be held at the Randsburg Opera House, 26741 Butte Ave., in Randsburg.
The all-you-can-eat breakfast includes pancakes, sausage and choice of orange juice, milk or coffee. A donation of $5 per person is suggested. Proceeds from the event benefit the Rand Desert Museum, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
Randsburg’s 12th Annual Old West and Bluegrass Jamboree follows the breakfast fundraiser. The jamboree takes place on Butte Avenue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Country and bluegrass music, and dancing will be featured on stage.
The Old West Lawman Mounted Posse will ride the streets of Randsburg to keep law and order. Buffalo Bill’s Cowboy & Indian Exhibition will be on hand, as well as gold panning demonstrations, and Old West silent movies.

There will also be a cowboy camp, and a classic car show. Arrest warrants will be issued for the Randsburg Hoosegow (jail).
The music and other great entertainment are all free, as is the admission to Randsburg’s Old West Days. Plenty of shopping bargains and delicious food will be available for purchase.
Randsburg is located just one paved mile off Highway 395, half way between Ridgecrest and the intersection of Highways 58 and 395 (Kramer Junction).
