Missing woman found dead
The search for Brandi Tanner, 22, missing since July 8, ended tragically when female remains were identified as hers.
A news re-lease from the Kern County Sheriff’s Of-fice, Coroner Section, said that remains found on July 21 in the 200 block of Choppo Road, in Wofford Heights were positively identified through dental comparison as Tanner.
The cause and place of death has not yet been determined. Test results are still pending from the coroner’s office.
According to Deputy Ray Pruitt of the Sheriff’s Public Information Office, the investigation is proceeding. “Until we know the cause and manner of death, it’s still an ongoing investigation,” said Pruitt.Story First Published: 2013-07-31
