Brandi Lee Tanner sought urgentlyThe Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in locating a missing person.

Brandi Lee Tanner, 22, reported missing on July 8, was last seen in Wofford Heights at 8 a.m. that day. She is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, and has reddish-brown hair and brown eyes. She was born on June 26, 1991.

Tanner was wearing a white shirt and bluejean shorts and may possibly be in the company of friends or associates in the Ridgecrest area.

According to Senior Deputy Vic Keesey in Bakersfield, Tanner is listed as a critical missing person.

“Over the weekend, Search and Rescue was out in the Kern Valley area, conducting a search for her. We’re in limbo right now, with nothing to report. Search and Rescue found female remains, but they have not been identified as yet, so we’re waiting on the coroner. This is still listed as an active missing person case.”

This is the first time Tanner has been listed as a missing person.
