Man killed in traffic accident

At press time the News Review learned of the death of a 42-year-old Inyokern man, who died as a result of injuries from a traffic accident.

According to a statement released from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Timothy Michael Johns was traveling on April 27, at approximately 7:30 p.m., on the northbound on ramp from state route 178 to U.S. Highway 395. The report states that he left the roadway and his vehicle overturned.

According to the KCSO, Johns was transported to Kern Medical Center, where he died as a result of his injuries.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

No other information was available at press time.
