Claire Ann Kinnich
Claire Ann Kinnich died March 18, 2013, in Ridgecrest. She was 67.
A memorial service will be held March 28 at 5:30 p.m. at Immanuel Christian Church on Graaf Street. Pastor Bill Logan will officiate. Burial will take place at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif., on April 1. For more information about this event, call 760-499-3617.
Claire was born March 23, 1945, in Susanville, Calif., to Jessie and Bill Weaver. She graduated from high school in Santa Barbara. Claire worked as an escrow manager at World Title Company in Ridgecrest and was retired. She was a Ridgecrest resident since 1977.
Claire was an active member at Immanuel Christian Church. She enjoyed scrapbooking and all sorts of arts and crafts and was an accomplished pianist. She loved traveling and enjoyed a cruise to Hawaii, time in Italy and time in England.
She is survived by her husband Francis Kinnich of Ridgecrest; daughters Rochelle Butler and husband Lester Anderson of Castle Rock, Colo. and Victoria Butler and husband David Butler of Mechanicsville, Md., granddaughter Colleen Lilly of Mechanicsville; grandson Benjamin Lilly of Hollywood, Md.; nieces Brandie Bell, Brianna Bell, Lindsey Bell and Amber Dennis and brother-in-law Tom Bell.
Claire was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Bill Weaver, and sister, Kathy Bell.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations to the annual Ridgecrest Regional Hospital Butterfly Release.
