Photography series offered at Cerro Coso
A five-hour, two-night Intro-ductory Digital Photography class will be offered at Cerro Coso Community College next week.
It is the first in a series of nine separate digital/video community education classes to be taught by Ridgecrest resident and professional photographer, Ray Hocker,
The first class will introduce students to the basics of exposure, how to transfer images to computers and safely store them, along with fun and easy ways to share them with family and friends.
Hocker will draw on his expertise to teach students how to get more out of their digital cameras or smart-phones.
The introductory class will meet Monday, Feb. 25, and Wednesday, Feb. 27, from 6-8:30 p.m.
The fee is $40, and the class is open to the public.
Participants must be at least 12 years old to participate, and the class does not award college credit.
Hocker offers a variety of classes, with each requiring separate registration and fees.
