Eleanor Aileen Shreve
Eleanor Aileen Shreve of Melbourne, Fla., passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Bradenton, Fla., on Dec. 28, 2012. She was 78.
The daughter of Eleanor and Arnold Garnett, she was born in Charleston, WV on Aug. 20, 1934. She married Cmdr. Lloyd H. Shreve. As the wife of a young naval officer, she moved 13 times in the first 17 years of marriage while raising four children.

A resident of China Lake and Ridgecrest for more than 25 years, she is survived by her children, Paul Shreve of London, Carolina Shreve of San Diego, Linda Ribar of Ridgecrest, Sandy Ruark of Bradenton, Fla., and seven grandchildren.
In accordance with her wishes, she will be interned in the spring in Charleston, W.V., in a private family ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your local hospice.
