Michael Francis Youngblood
Michael Francis Youngblood passed away on Dec. 25, 2012. He was 56.
Visitation will be held at the H.K. Holland Memorial Chapel on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, from 5-7 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church at 10 a.m., with interment at Desert Memorial Park.
Mike was born on Dec. 8, 1956, at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, Ariz. He graduated from Sherman E. Burroughs High School in 1975.
Mike worked for Civil Service for 36 years. He was one of 10 aviator welders certified for special welding skills. His career started at Edwards Air Force Base, then he transferred to the Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake.
He will be remembered for his wonderful talent and iron art sculptures gracing the grounds of the Maturango Museum.
Mike is survived by his wife, Diane; Daughter, Riley; parents, Francis and Patricia; sister, Susan; brother-in-law James and nephew, Samuel.Story First Published: 2013-01-02
