Holiday Concord at BHS

The Burroughs High School Performing Arts Classes present their Holiday Concord next Friday, Dec. 14, at the Pinnacles Room, Kerr McGee Center.

Seating will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the performance starting at 6 p.m.

Tickets are available at Red Rock Books, 206 W. Ridgecrest Blvd., for $10 admission only, with each $40 ticket including a dinner prepared by Master Chef Rose Fusco. Tickets are selling rapidly, so don’t procrastinate.

The Holiday Concord is a dinner and concert in the round with BHS performers creating a historical period in music, dance and decoration.

Works by Hindemith, Copland and Berlin will evoke the recently passed 20th century. Guests will have the opportunity to "cut a rug" to the swingin’ sounds of the Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Simon Austin. Orchestra and Choir sounds will be led by Mark Hatter.

“Come out for an amazing evening of sound and sight, produced by the performing arts students of Burroughs High School!” said a spokesperson.
