Photo Society to view Carrs’ trip to Switzerland
For a photographer, Switzerland is one Kodak Moment after another, as Jim Carr and his wife Joann learned when they took a motor trip through Switzerland for three weeks last September.
Carr gas selected some of his favorite pictures to share at the China Lake Photographic Society meeting on Thursday, Dec. 6.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Maturango Museum. The doors will open at 6:45 p.m.
The Carrs’ travels took them to numerous places in the Swiss countryside, including Appenzell, Lugano, Interlaken, Lauter-brunnen, Gruyeres and Luzern.
The touring provided ample opportunity for capturing various subject matter, and Carr will show photos of mountains, countryside, churches, one castle, lots of cows and cowbells, flowers, cheese making and chocolate candy making.
This presentation will include both still photos and short movie clips. The public is invited to attend. There is no charge for admission. Photo Society to view Carrs’ trip to SwitzerlandStory First Published: 2012-11-21
