Election results available onlineAs the News Review went to press Tuesday night, polls were still open for the General Election. However, precinct volunteers reported the highest turnout in recent memory at local polling centers.

Although the expectation of a close call in the presidential race, and potentially others, mean the outcome of some races will not be known until the 30-day deadline for certification, regular updates can be tracked online.

Results of local and county contests will be posted at elec

sults.asp. Early absentee ballots are posted shortly after polls close at 8 p.m. Uncertified results are typically updated sometime after midnight.

Results of state elections can be tracked at www.sos.ca.gov/.

A full report of election results will be published in next week’s News Review.
