Foundation applauds Star Party supporters

To the Editor

The Cerro Coso Community College Foundation and college administration would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank the following community members, businesses and organizations for their support of the foundation’s Star Party and Barbecue on Friday, Sept. 14. dedicated to the memory of Carroll Evans, a valued supporter of the college and the Dr. Alex Shlanta Observatory.

At a time when the state budget is forcing painful cuts, the community’s support is critical to Cerro Coso students, staff, programs and services.
