Beauty and the Beast opens next weekend

Gaston (Ryan Loewen) drags LeFou (Brian Cosner) by the ear while rehearsing for the Ridgecrest Musical Enrichment Society’s production of Walt Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.” This popular musical, directed by Bill Blanc, opens Oct. 12 and runs Oct. 13, 18, 19, and 20 at 7 p.m., and Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. at Burroughs High School’s Parker Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available at Red Rock Books for $15 for general admission; $12 for seniors, children under 12, students and military; and $10 for RMES members.
