‘Chain of Life’ is Sunday
The American Life League of Indian Wells Valley will sponsor its annual “Chain of Life” on Sunday, Oct. 7, from 2-3:30 p.m. The purpose of this event is to publicly express concern for the 1,200,000 unborn babies aborted yearly in the USA. “This 90 minutes will be spent in silent prayer and song to give public testimony for these mass crimes against God and humanity,” said a spokesperson. Placards and signs will be given out at a temporary station located near the north driveway entrance of the IWV Surgery Center at North China Lake Boulevard.
Participants are asked to stand on the public sidewalks of China Lake Boulevard from Ward Avenue on the north, extending southward to Drummond Avenue, maintaining approximately a 20-foot spacing between each other. Vehicle parking is available in parking lots either north or south of the driveway to the IWV Surgery Center. All members of the public, ages two years and up are invited to take part in this outdoor event.
