NAWCWD leadership welcomes new NAVAIR commander
Rear Adm. Paul Sohl, right, commander of the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, and Scott O’Neil, NAWCWD executive director, welcome Vice Adm. David Dunaway as the new commander of the Naval Air Systems Command. Dunaway replaced retiring Vice Adm. David Architzel during a change-of-command ceremony Sept. 20 at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Md. During his career, Dunaway had tours with VX-5 and VX-9, and served as the NAWCWD commander from September 2007 to January 2009.
